Dr. Maria C Segrera
Dr. Segrera received her dental degree from the Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia in 2000. After graduating, she worked in private practice for two years. When she decided to move to South Florida in 2002, her journey began working as a dental assistant and dental hygienist.
In 2010 she completed the International Dental Graduate program at Nova Southeastern University and obtained her DMD degree. Dr. Segrera has special training in Oral Surgery, Restorative Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry and Implant Dentistry . She is an active member of the ICOI (International Congress Of Oral Implantologist) where she receieved fellowship certification. Fluent in English and Spanish. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Dr. Diana Naffah
As 2nd generation of Orthodontists, Dr. Naffah has dedicated more than 19 years to providing orthodontic care to patients of all ages, both in private practice and in teaching settings. In addition, she is trained in the interdisciplinary management of patients with Craniofacial Anomalies.
She was initially foreign trained in Dentistry in Universidad Javeriana in Bogota, Colombia, and as exchange student participated in research projects in the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She attended a 3-year Orthodontics Postgraduate program in the well-known Universidad El Bosque also in Bogota, Colombia. Right after, she completed a Fellowship in Craniofacial Anomalies in the University of California in San Francisco. After returning to her country of origin, Colombia, Dr. Naffah practiced in Bogota as an Orthodontist for more than 6 years, combining working in her family-owned private office with teaching in two Orthodontics programs at recognized universities where her focus was teaching all aspects related to providing orthodontic care to patients with Craniofacial Anomalies; in addition, she became involved in one of the few Interdisciplinary Teams in the country with Hospital de la Misericordia. Once relocated to Florida, she worked at Nova Southeastern University in the Department of Orthodontics as an adjunct faculty at the postgraduate level for 2 years. Next, she completed a 2-year AEGD program in the Florida Institute for Advanced Dental Education (aka Dade County Dental Research Clinic) and following obtained her license to practice in the State of Florida. Besides her background, she has been member of recognized associations including World Federation of Orthodontics, Colombian Society of Orthodontics and Colombian Dental Federation. In addition, considering her belief about the importance of keeping up with the latest advances in techniques, technology, and equipment, she attends local and international professional meetings on a continuous basis. It is her interest to continue providing excellent Orthodontic care to patients in our community, offering them her best knowledge and experience

Dr. Edgar Navarrete
Dr. Navarrete attended Nova Southeastern University School of Medicine where he graduated as a dentist in 2005. He also obtained his dental degree from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in 1982. The he went on to specialize in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at the French Hospital in Buenos Aires (Argentina)and in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at the Buenos Aires University both in 1986. Dr. Navarrete works as a General Dentist to limited practice in oral surgery. He is part of the National Dental Association, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, American Academy of Implant Dentistry and American General Dentistry. He continues taking several courses on different dental topics such as Implantology and Oral Surgery to continue learning and always have the most current knowledge. Dr. Navarrete is passionate about his work and ensures that every patient is treated with the utmost care.
